BACKSTORY:

Darkness was originally born as a hedgehog... but he wasn't a REAL hedgehog. He was negatively born... through the emeralds. But after a long ammount of testing, Eggman, his creator, found out how to make the body a true mobian, and turned him to a regular hedgehog...

In doing so, he was given a will of choosing what he would do... but the fact he was negatively born, gave him strange consequences. Stages.
They have went from when he was a kid... the first stage was when he was quite emotional... and got upset about anything... then he turned into compassionate at stage two. He then reached stage three at the age 12, and it turned him heartless for three years of his life... making him go on rampages.

He met Aqua one day, in his heartless stage, and found himself happy around her... thus making him fall for her... he had fought over Aqua countless times without anyone even knowing it... and he went through horrible fights...

Then he was stopped by Slade and the others after going on a huge rampage... he woke up in another compassionate stage... and was like that for a while. He managed to put the past behind him... barely... for the good of everyone.

The gods ofcourse came, and messed with him, turning him and a few others into kids... Darkness in his kid form, became very fond of Artica... and tried making more friends.

Finally, the final battle against the gods came... and Darkness took a shot for Artica...

He was revived by her. Close call... he then was turned back to his 15 year old self... but he realised... he was in love with Artica now... not Aqua... no use fighting over Aqua anymore...

Him and Artica kissed on that same day, and Darkness knew he'd never get mad again, so long as Artica was there.

So he thought...

Darkness had drank some of the Phantom's Trick drink... turning him into a wolf... which had the personallity difference... making him much easier to anger, but much stronger, and faster. It also revoked him of flight, and gave him a fear of heights. He can barely control his rage at times, and tries to stay calm. But it never works. He also gets really pissed off by anything near enough. He even killed someone because he wet himself.

Darkness can't control his strength in the slightest... accidently killing tonnes of people without realising... his tail is also a weak point, as he can't really control it. It gets caught on countless things... all the time...

Present times... Darkness is even worse with his attitude and temper... trying to get him to calm down makes him even worse...

And to think, he wouldn't have became a wolf if it wasn't for Slade. Even though it was accidental.
